Si trova a nord di Taltal, nella Quebrada S.Ramon,non cresce vicino al mare ma tra i 250 e i 700mt.Caratteristica unica per le copiapoa, questa pianta e' ricoperta da una soffice lanuggine bianca.Si ibrida con copiapoa cinerea dando vita a bellissimi ibridi naturali. In coltivazione non da particolari problemi, ma fiorisce molto raramente.

It is located north of Taltal, in the Quebrada S.Ramon, it does not grow near the sea but between 250 and 700mt. Unique feature for the copiapoa, this plant is covered with a soft white fluff.It is hybrid with copsex cinerea giving life to beautiful natural hybrids. In cultivation not due to particular problems, but it blooms very rarely.
