Copiapoa griseoviolacea

Scoperta nel 2010 dai coniugi Keim, vive a sud est di Freirina a nord del Rio Huasco. Prende il nome dal colore che le piante piu' esposte al sole sviluppano. Da giovani possono presentare somiglianze con certe popolazioni di echinoides.Sviluppa anche un lieve strato di cera

 

Discovered in 2010 by the spouses Keim, lives southeast of Freirina north of the Rio Huasco. It takes its name from the color that plants most exposed to the sun develop. As a youngster they may have similarities with certain populations of echinoides. It also develops a light layer of wax
